I take this as an honor to send this message as the Head of the Department of Ship Technology, one among the senior most Alumni and an ex-member of MAST. After 34 years of teaching and training in Naval Architecture,our Department has now more than 700 Naval Architects working across the continents. They are now working in design, production, survey, teaching,research, besides;some have even established their own firms.It is also a matter of pride to all of us that many of these Naval Architects have reached decision making levels in various organizations.The success of MASTECH 2008 shows the technical capability and organizational skill of our Alumni. I urge you to conduct more such events in the years to come.
